The marbles and stones selection is the qualifying factor of each DOMITILLA Collection proposal and enhances its design. The names of the marbles are the Italian cities where they are quarried from: Carrara, Levanto, Verona, Rome, the Alps, Prato, Siena. The authenticity of the products relies on the stone they are made of. Each stone is related to the place of extraction and each place is the complex of its identity. The stone takes on the references and allows the implicit relationship between the shape of things, the materials and their meaning.

The design and the quest for materials led to a high-quality standard also for padding, coatings and fabrics. The sofa padding is in polyurethane foam with a density of 30/35 hp for the hard seats and/or polyurethane mixed feather for the backrests or the soft seats. The backrests are in shaped polyurethane foam and polyester fiber, with a cover in polyester fiber and cotton. The fabrics are natural, pleasant to the touch, comfortable and highly appreciated for their undoubted quality. Each processing step is accurate in every detail, starting from the selection of the best fibers. The cottons are pure, not made in lab, resistant and breathable, characterized by long fibers that determine their quality and resistance.

The leathers are tanned and made in Italy, and they are all from first choice cows. The completely handicraft seams are cured in detail to enhance the sofa design. They are straight and resistant and allow the adhesion of the leather on the padding surface, avoiding unwanted creases. The colours of the fabrics and leathers have been selected in connection with marbles, to ensure the best matches and to obtain elegant and exquisite compositions and collections.
